Cement floors for Karla and other Makers

💛 Help Karla Finish the Floors in Her Home 💛

This is Karla — a young mother doing everything she can to move her family forward. She provides for her small household, which includes her sweet son Varon and her elderly mother. Their humble home recently received electricity for the first time, but they still live without running water.

Through your generosity, we’ve already been able to pour cement in Karla’s bedroom area, giving her a clean and stable space to rest. However, the rest of her home is still made up of dirt and rocks, making daily life challenging — especially during the rainy season.

Karla is an inspiring example to her community. She is one of the very few Makers we’ve met who completed high school, and she’s now attending college classes at San Pedro University, just a 15-minute walk from her home. Her determination to build a better future for her family is remarkable. 🌿

We would love to help Karla finish cementing the rest of her floors and extend that same support to other Makers who, like her, are doing their best to provide but simply can’t save enough for these basic necessities.

Your donation will help us create safe, clean, and dignified living conditions for Karla and her family — and for other hardworking women striving to rise above poverty.

💛 Every $25 brings us one step closer to a finished floor.
