🩵 Immediate Need: Help Karen Get a Refrigerator 🩵
Karen is a devoted mother of five whose journey has been marked by strength and perseverance. She became a mother at just 17 years old, and life since then has been anything but easy. When we first met Karen, her children were severely malnourished and lacked the energy to even play. Today, thanks to the work opportunities she’s received through One Common Thread and the kindness of donors like you, her children are vibrant, smiling, and full of life. 💕
Over the past few years, we’ve helped Karen rebuild her home—giving her a new roof, sturdy floors, an oven to cook with, and beds so her children finally have a safe and comfortable place to sleep. Now, we’re hoping to take one more big step forward for her family by providing a refrigerator.
A refrigerator will allow Karen to safely store food, reducing the need for daily market trips and helping her stretch her resources even further.
We anticipate the fridge will cost $400, so we’ve split the need into $25 donation increments. Our dream is to one day provide a refrigerator for every Maker in our program.
