Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
This gorgeous circles and stars patterned quilt was made by our tiny little Maker Dilvia. Dilvia is 27-years old and has two children. She is married to one of Ruth’s sons. You can't help but smile when you see Dilvia. She always points out the blessings in her life and is an optimist. Recently, Dilvia and her family also had to flee the bordo and they built a house with donations from One Common Thread. She now lives out in the country with her husbands two sisters families and her mother. She continues to try and build a better life for all of her family.
