Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Yanderi, a talented 17-year-old mother, has poured her heart and skill into creating a breathtaking diamond EPP hexagon quilt from 1" hexagons. While caring for her 18-month-old son, she uses her sewing abilities to provide for their needs. Living in a humble home, Yanderi faces the challenges of poverty, including the urgent need for a new roof to withstand the tropical storms that frequently batter Honduras.
High-quality thread, majority cotton fabrics but some flannel for this quilt top, minky or velvet fabric backing.
