In the midst of her challenges, Glenda finds solace and a newfound sense of hope through sewing. She had the opportunity to learn this skill from another Maker, and it has become a therapeutic outlet in her life. Sewing provides her with a way to momentarily set aside her problems and focus on creating beautiful projects. This newfound passion not only brings light to her life but also serves as a means of supporting herself and funding her ongoing treatments for her cancer.
Despite all these hardships, Glenda's strength and resilience shine through. She has channeled her energy into creating a beautiful Grandma's Garden-designed hexagon quilt. Each stitch represents her determination to overcome obstacles and find joy amidst adversity. Through her creative pursuits and unwavering spirit, Glenda finds the strength to face each day with courage and hope, proving that even in the face of profound challenges, the human spirit can prevail.
