Sewn by our Makers in San Pedro Sula, Honduras Every hexagon basted by hand at her own kitchen table Meet the women who sew →

Mirna is a mother of one and is in need of a toilet.  Having a toilet in Honduras is a luxury.  When our Makers have toilets in their own homes it equals safety and security.  We have several Makers in need of toilets but we try to attend to the needs of our Makers with teenage daughters with priority.

Currently many of our Makers have to use a communal toilet that is located a ways down the way from their home.  This can be very unsafe for their children especially their daughters.  We have had many Makers report that their daughters are abused when they go out to use the toilet when an adult can not accompany them.  We feel this is an urgent need and want to help Yensi with this right away.  Please consider a donation to help Mirna and other mothers like her.

A toilet runs about $150 along with a tank to bury it can cost as much as $300.  We are separating this need into $10 payments.  We would love for you to help in anyway you can.

Thank you!!!
