Dilvia, a hardworking 28-year-old mother, is building a better future for her family alongside her mother, Maribel. Living in a humble 15' x 15' home with her husband and two children, Dilvia is deeply grateful for the safety and security it provides—something made possible through the generous support of One Common Thread donors.
For Maribel, life has taken a new and exciting turn. For the first time ever, she has her own home—a space she doesn’t have to share with a partner or child. This newfound independence and stability is something she cherishes deeply.
One of the biggest blessings she has received is much-needed dental work, allowing her to finally be pain-free and proudly show off her new smile. After years of discomfort, she is overwhelmed with gratitude. She also now has her very first refrigerator, giving her the simple joy of cold water on a hot day—a luxury she never had before.
Through their dedication and hard work, Dilvia and Maribel are transforming their lives. With each stitch, they are not only providing for their families but also creating a future filled with hope and stability. 💛✨
