More Than Handmade Hexagon Quilts

When most people first hear about One Common Thread, they usually think of our handmade hexagon quilts. After all, that's where our story began.

What started as an opportunity for one woman to earn an income quickly grew as more women asked if they could learn too. Today, those handmade hexagon quilts are still one of the most recognizable parts of One Common Thread.

Over the years, though, something exciting has happened.

The women have continued to learn new skills, explore new ideas, and create an even wider variety of handmade products. While our hexagon quilts will always be at the heart of what we do, they are no longer the only products they make.

Handmade Hexagon Quilts

Our handmade hexagon quilts are where it all began. Each quilt is carefully stitched by hand using English paper piecing, with every hexagon sewn together one piece at a time. They remain the heart of One Common Thread and continue to tell the story of how this nonprofit first started.

Quilt Kits

For those who love to quilt, our hexagon quilt kits make it possible to create a beautiful project at home while supporting the mission of One Common Thread. They're a wonderful way to enjoy quilting while connecting with the story behind our organization.

Quilted Jackets

Our hexagon quilted jackets are one of the most unique products we offer. Handmade by the women we work with in Honduras, they're designed to be both practical and beautiful, making each jacket truly one of a kind.

Aprons

Whether you're cooking, baking, gardening, or creating, our handmade hexagon quilted aprons are designed to be used and enjoyed. They combine everyday function with the care and quality that go into every One Common Thread product.

Table Runners

A hexagon quilt table runner is an easy way to bring warmth and color into your home. Whether it's used every day or brought out for special occasions, each one reflects the talent and creativity of the woman who made it.

Pillow Covers

Our handmade hexagon quilt pillow covers are a simple way to refresh a room while adding something meaningful to your home. Every cover is carefully sewn by hand and reflects the same attention to detail found in all of our products.

Bags

Our handmade hexagon bags are designed for everyday life. They're practical, durable, and beautifully made, while also representing meaningful work for the women who create them.

Baby Quilts

Baby hexagon quilts have become a favorite for many families. They're made with the same care and attention as our larger quilts and are often given as thoughtful gifts to welcome a new baby.

Christmas Decorations

Our handmade hexagon quilt Christmas decorations are created to become part of family traditions for years to come. Whether decorating your own home or giving them as gifts, they bring together the joy of the season with the story behind every handmade piece.

One of my favorite parts of sharing these products is watching people realize that they aren't just looking at handmade items. They're looking at the creativity, talent, and dedication of the women who made them. Every product reflects hours of careful work and gives these women the opportunity to earn an income while working from home and caring for their families.

One of the things I love most is introducing people to the women behind these handmade products.

Every quilt, jacket, apron, bag, table runner, and pillow cover is handmade by talented women in Honduras. My role is simply to share their work, tell their stories, and help connect others to the mission of One Common Thread.

As One Common Thread continues to grow, I hope we'll continue creating even more opportunities. Every new product means another chance for these women to use their talents, support their families, and build brighter futures.

Every product has a story. Long before it reaches its new home, it begins in the hands of a talented woman in Honduras. Sharing those stories is one of my favorite parts of One Common Thread, and I hope every handmade piece helps people see the lives, talent, and opportunity behind it.
