We have so many new Makers who are working so hard to purchase supplies to improve their living conditions. One of the first things we do when we take on a new Maker is go through their home and access their needs. We try and assist with their immediate needs right away.
All of our Makers are helped with the purchasing of their supplies and they are responsible for making the improvements with the help of their family, friends and church congregations. Here is what a typical list looks like for one of our Makers:

Meet Yanori — a dedicated mother with a deep desire to give her growing son a safe and comfortable place to call his own. Using leftover materials from her home, she worked hard to build him a small room, a space she’s incredibly proud of. However, without a proper roof, the room becomes uninhabitable whenever it rains, leaving her son exposed to the elements. Despite her determination and hard work, Yanori simply hasn’t been able to save enough to purchase the roofing materials she needs. Your donation will go directly toward helping Yanori put a sturdy new roof over her son’s room — and will also support other Makers like her who dream of providing safe, secure homes for their children. 💛
