Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
The maker of this quilt, Trick or Treat, is named Nohemy. Nohemy is 27 years old and is a new addition here at One Common Thread. She was born and raised in the slums of San Pedro Sula Honduras and has completed school to the 6th grade. She loves to sew and is grateful to have work especailly during the Pandemic. She says working has given her the opportunity to see that women can help contribute economically to the home. She has one daughter named after herself, Nohemy. She says she is married and her husband supports her in working.
