Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Ruth is one of newest Makers and she is so endearing. This woman is the mother of one child. She lives on the far side of the bordo but she heard about women sewing and working for themselves and wanted to be apart of One Common Thread. So she walks quite a bit to make it over to the other Makers so she could learn how to sew and now has a beautiful new floor and roof over her head. She feels so proud she was able to purchase these items with her own earnings.
