Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
This Maker, Maribel, is one of our very favorites. Maribel is 48 years old and stand at a tiny 4'10" tall. She is absolutely one of the sweetest women we have ever met. She is very quiet and hardly speaks in person but get her on social media and she can talk your ear off! She is just so much fun!
Maribel made this optical illusion quilt with the help of her daughter Dilvia. They are the tiny dynamic duo! Roman Holiday is a series of diamond shapes and has a super soft turquoise velvet backing that really makes it look so elegant. This is an absolute work of art.
