Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
This is a really fun scrappy quilt made in our diamond wheel design. The children's fabrics in this quilt are so fun and coordinate so well in this heirloom quilt. Rainbow Caterpillar was made by Madeline and Wendy.
Madeline and her mother Wendy live 8 hours on a bus outside of San Pedro Sula and they started sewing for One Common Thread from the very beginning. They take a bus to drop off work and pick up more every few months just to keep employed. This quilt is an example of their labor of love.
