Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Description
We love this scrappy pumpkin patch quilt! This quilt was made by Ruth and her daughter Damaris. They both are apart of our original 8 Makers and they are really enjoying the opportunity to have work and stay home.
Ruth is older and not in the best physical health so having a job where she can stay home really helps. Her daughter Damaris is also sewing but she is also taking a continuing education class and trying to learn English so she may be able to get a job in call center once her course is over. Your donations and purchases help these two put food on the table to support themselves and their children.
