She and her husband Elmer also take care of 2 of Kendy's sisters and a brother. Her sisters are 14, and 12 and her brother is 16-years-old. Right now Kendy is trying to save enough money to get a new roof on her house. With the tropical weather in San Pedro Sula there is a lot of rain and she would like to get a new roof to stop the leaking.
