Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Jurassic Baby is a V shape scrappy flannel baby quilt with cute dinosaur fabric and it was made by Neidy, pronounced Naa-Dee. As a mother of three, Neidy is grateful to have the opportunity to work. She is 36 years old and has been helping her sister sew, so she is excited to make her own creations. She is grateful for her children because they bring her the greatest happiness.
Recently Neidy's son Tito graduated from high school and is now attending Honduras University. We are so proud of him and his efforts to work and go to school to help his mother. Recently they built onto Neidy's home so now Tito has his own room and is no longer sharing with his mother and little sister Lucia.
