Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Description
Dilvia used a variety of orange and brown fabrics to create the pumpkins, and green fabrics for the stems and leaves. She carefully pieced together each block and then sewed them all together to create a beautiful patchwork quilt. The finished quilt measures 41.5" x 55" and is perfect for snuggling up on chilly fall evenings.
Dilvia is incredibly proud of her finished quilt and is excited to share it with you. Dilvia is also grateful for the opportunity to participate in the One Common Thread program and to have access to the materials and tools needed to create beautiful quilts. She hopes to continue quilting and improving her skills so that she can create even more amazing projects in the future.
