Madeline and her mother Wendy live 8 hours on a bus outside of San Pedro Sula and they started sewing for One Common Thread from the very beginning. They take a bus to drop off work and pick up more every few months just to keep employed. This quilt is an example of their labor of love.

Beautifully hand-stitched hexagon quilt. Majority of fabric is donated and proceeds employ women living in poverty in the "bordos" of San Pedro Sula, Honduras
