Handmade large high quality quilt made by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Just looking at the picture of this maker brings a smile to my face! This quilt was made by Dilvia and her mother Maribel. Maribel is so shy and quiet so it took me awhile to get to know her. It turns out Maribel and I are the same age! This quilt Garden Party is prominently green. With the sales of their quilts these two are saving so they can pour cement on the floor of Maribels 12' x 10' house she lives in close to Dilvia and her family.
