Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras

Description

This quilt, Freedom, was made by Dilvia and her mother Maribel. These two are tiny but mighty! At 4'10" and 4'11" they are small but fierce. Dilvia Is the mother of two beautiful children and just recently started Cosmetology school thanks to donations to One Common Thread. Maribel, just had her own home built. She has always lived with one of her children so having her own space Is a huge blessing. Her house Is small and doesn't fit more than a bed and a dresser but she loves having her privacy. She continues to share a bathroom and kitchen with her daughter and grandchildren.

Maribel Is also an avid social media fan and Is always sending beautiful quotes and words of encouragement to her family and friends. She truly Is just an angel on earth. Thank you so much for supporting these two wonderful women. They are so thrilled to have the opportunity to support their families from home.
