Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Description
This quilt was made by Ruth and her daughter Damaris. They both are apart of our original 8 Makers and they are really enjoying the opportunity to have work and stay home.
Ruth is older and not in the best physical health so having a job where she can stay home really helps. Her daughter Damaris is also sewing but she is also taking a continuing education class and trying to learn English so she may be able to get a job in call center once her course is over. Your donations and purchases help these two put food on the table to support themselves and their children.
