Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
This beautiful flower garden quilt is a gorgeous twist with navy blue centers! It is absolutely gorgeous and made by our Maker Clivian. Clivian is a single mother of three boys ages 11, 7 and 5 years. She went to school up to 4th grade. Her mom died so she stopped going to school. At the age of 15, she got pregnant of her first son. She dreams that her boys continue studying and that they have opportunities she didn’t have growing up. Her oldest son dreams of being and architect. She dreams of having a refrigerator. She’s never had one. One of the hardest things is taking care of her boys alone. But with the Lords help she has been able to provide for them.
