Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Description
Our sweet little Teresa made this quilt called Blue Dahlia. Teresa is one of our smallest makers and she just does such a wonderful job with her sewing skills she has learned with us here at One Common Thread. She is a mother of one beautiful little girl and supports them with the funds she makes by sewing.
Recently, Teresa was able to get a new roof put on her house and had cement flooring put in her kitchen and bathroom area. It has been such a blessing for her. She has also been able to receive medications when her daughter has been ill and is grateful to know there are such great people in the world willing to buy her product so she can feed her daughter.
This Blue Dahlia is a flannel quilt made with childrens fabrics. It has a super soft minky backing and will be a baby quilt that can be passed down through time.
