
Handmade quilt by women in San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Description
This quilt was made by Ruth and her daughters Jessica and Damaris. These three lovely women live in a small home outside of the main city of San Pedro City. Ruth and her family used to live in the city but due to gang violence and a threat against their lives they fled out of the city and had to rebuild their lives.
This quilt is made using our Diamond basket design. It has a many colors with a black outline.

Beautifully hand-stitched hexagon quilt. Majority of fabric is donated and proceeds employ women living in poverty in the "bordos" of San Pedro Sula, Honduras
