1910 is credited as being the birth year of Abstract Art. This quilt is a perfect rendition of that, hence the name. Madeline and her mother Wendy live 8 hours on a bus outside of San Pedro Sula and they started sewing for One Common Thread from the very beginning. They take a bus to drop off work and pick up more every few months just to keep employed. This quilt is an example of their labor of love.
